What happens when two highly sought-after instrumentalists team up?

Pino Palladino, a master of the bass guitar, has played on iconic albums from Eric Clapton to D'Angelo. Guitarist and producer Blake Mills has performed with Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple and Bob Dylan. The potential for creative cross-pollination is great, but on That Wasn't A Dream, they manage to create something completely unique.

In this session, Mills and Palladino dig into some of their creative process and show off some of the unique instruments in their arsenal, like a speciatly fretless guitar.

Plus, Mills and Palladino perform songs from That Wasn't A Dream live in the studio.
