An investigation is underway after a shooting at Haywood Mall on Saturday afternoon.

Two people are hurt and a 17-year-old is charged as an adult after a shooting at Greenville’s Haywood Mall over the weekend.

Greenville police officers say Kamari Walker is charged as an adult with high and aggravated assault and battery. Officers are still looking to identify other potential suspects.

The two victims, who have not been identified, are in stable condition according to police. One of the victims, a woman who was shot in the foot, was a bystander and was not involved in the incident.

Police say things went south when two groups of people, who knew each other, got into an altercation that escalated into gunfire.

Anyone with information that could lead to additional arrests is asked to contact Greenville Police Department's Detective Bryant at ebryant@greenvillesc.gov.
