Final day to vote early in South Carolina's primary election

Early voting centers close at 5 p.m. Friday.

Today is the last day for voters to cast a ballot early before the statewide primary.

Voters will be asked to show one of the following current and valid Photo IDs:

  • SC Driver's License
    • Includes standard license and REAL ID
  • SC Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card
    • Includes standard ID card and REAL ID
    • Includes SC Concealed Weapons Permit
  • SC Voter Registration Card with Photo
  • Federal Military ID
    • Includes all Department of Defense Photo IDs and Veterans Affairs Benefits Card
  • US Passport
    • Includes US Passport ID Card

After today, anyone still wanting to participate in the Primary Election will have to vote on Tuesday, June 9.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone in line by 7 p.m. is able to cast a ballot. Voters are encouraged to check their precinct location online.
