South Carolina Women, Dawn Staley, prepare for sixth-straight Final Four matchup

The Gamecock women face the University of Connecticut tonight at 7 p.m.

The stage is set. South Carolina Women's Basketball team, led by Coach Dawn Staley, is ready to compete in their sixth-straight Final Four game in Phoenix.

The Gamecocks face the UConn Huskies in a rematch of last year's national championship game. The 2025 game was a heartbreaker for Gamecock fans after the 82-59 loss to the Huskies.

This is the third consecutive Final Four appearance for the UConn women.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The winner will head to the national championship to face either UCLA or Texas on Sunday, April 5.
